The 2nd winner of the 2000 Guineas, held on Tuesday 8th May 1810 over the Rowley Mile course, was Hephestion (5/1), a bay colt by Alexander out of Olivia, owned by the 2nd Earl Grosvenor. A field of 9 runners contested the race which was won easily by the winner and worth 1450 Guineas (Equivalent to £113,200 in 2017)
